Cassy Chatterson, DVM

Medical Director

Dr. Cassy Chatterson grew up in Terre Haute, Indiana. She received her Bachelor of Science in 1998 from Purdue University and graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. Dr. Chatterson and her husband, Joel, have been practicing in Washington State since 2006. She completed her life-long dream of becoming a practice owner by purchasing Woodinville Animal Hospital in 2019. Dr. Chatterson’s professional interests include surgery, geriatric medicine, and building strong, life-long bonds with her clients and their pets. Her personal interests include hiking, biking, and spending time outdoors with her husband, two boys, and their fur children – Furgie, Petunia, Leo, Aries, Cheeto, and Mr. Cuddles!

Nichole Johnson, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Nichole Johnson was born and raised here on the Eastside. She attended the University of Idaho and then Washington State University, where she earned her doctorate in veterinary medicine in 2015. She has a passion for preventative medicine and is interested in internal medicine. In her spare time, you can usually find her at her CrossFit gym or spending time with her family and husband, Kolin. She has four furry children: Storm and Dozer – sweet bullmastiffs; Stinky – a three-legged kitty; and Claire – a blue-eyed kitty.

Kimberly Hineline, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Kim Hineline grew up in Issaquah and studied at Washington State University. She received her Bachelor’s in Animal Science in 2007 and her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2011. She joined the team at WAH in July 2014. Dr. Hineline has a passion for preventative medicine and dentistry, with special interests in dermatology and geriatric medicine. When not at the clinic, she can often be found exploring the great outdoors with her three boys or gardening and cooking with her husband. Her pack consists of a senior lab mix named Lola, a black lab pup named Turk, and three kitties – Colby, Jack, and Peeta.

Michelle Salomon, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Michelle Salomon grew up in South Bellevue. She completed a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and then received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2022. She is excited to share her love for preventative medicine and the human-animal bond with the Woodinville community. In her free time, she is usually exploring local trails with her dog Willow, checking out new coffee/ tea shops, or playing her violin in a community orchestra.

Ellie
Hospital Manager

Ellie joined the WAH family as the Hospital Manager in May of 2021. Ellie has previous experience in leadership roles in both General Practice and Emergency & Specialty Medicine. Ellie’s favorite part of Veterinary Management is supporting her team behind the scenes so they can continue to provide gold-standard medicine to their patients and clients. Ellie grew up here in the PNW and received her bachelor’s in Sociology from WSU in 2010. When Ellie is not at work, you can find her with her husband, Kevin, her daughters Addison and Paige, her two dogs, Yolo and Brantlee, and two cats, Gunner and Captain Hot Sauce. Together with her family, Ellie enjoys all things outside, including hiking, camping and swimming, and rooting for the Seahawks!

Hannah, LVT

Lead Licensed Veterinary Technician

Hannah began her career at WAH as a kennel assistant in July of 2017 and has worked her way up the ranks and is now our lead technician! After four years of working full time and going to school, Hannah graduated from the Penn Foster Veterinary Technician program in the winter of 2021. Hannah grew up in Monroe and showed dairy cows for FFA at Monroe High School. Her favorite cow was a Holstein name Cassiopeia, named for her five white spots. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Nate, and her 4 kitties. She also enjoys true crime shows and Disney movies – quite the variety!

Alex
Veterinary Assistant

Alex grew up in the beautiful PNW on Whidbey Island and received her Bachelor’s in Biology from Western Washington University. After spending a few years working in the zoo/aquarium field as an aquarist, Alex decided that pursuing a career in the veterinary field was a better fit for her! She is an avid distance runner, scuba diver, and general outdoor recreation enthusiast. She shares her home with her wonderful kitty named Nim.

Veterinary Assistant

My name is Caitlin and I’ve worked in veterinary medicine for about 10 years. I am originally from South Louisiana but moved to Washington from Alaska a year ago. I have three purrfect cats: Max, Charlie, and Luna. I’m excited to explore Washington and meet new furry friends!

Chris
Veterinary Assistant

A product of our own local high school system, Chris graduated from Bothell High. She has been an assistant on our staff since 2010. Chris greatly enjoys all the cases that we see, both “routine” and not-so-routine. Chris enjoys her family, viewing Animal Planet, and spending time with her niece and nephew. Chris does not enjoy finding the cap left off of the tube of toothpaste…

Reilly
Veterinary Assistant

Reilly joined the WAH team in October 2019. Reilly came to us with many years in the pet care industry but was new to veterinary medicine. She jumped right in and has been a great addition to the WAH family! Reilly has a collie mix named Sofie, a lab named Walter, and a fluffy kitty named Apollo.

Dani
Veterinary Receptionist

Dani came to join us at WAH in December 2020 with a few years of experience at veterinary clinics. Dani is very happy to be a part of the WAH family! She has three kitties and enjoys spending time with them and her husband, Josh. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, playing video games, and spending time in the great outdoors.

Ekta

Veterinary Receptionist

Ekta has loved animals since childhood and has always wanted to work with them. She has a passion for wanting to help animals and people. Ekta graduated from Penn State University–Main Campus with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Sociology and a Minor in Japanese! She has one Pomeranian named Snow White (nicknamed Snowy) and one black cat named Luna. In her spare time, Ekta can be found playing video games, watching TV/movies, and spending time with her two children, husband, and friends.

Luis
Veterinary Receptionist

Luis has been living in the Bothell/Woodinville area since the day he was born. As a recent graduate in Cinema and Media Studies, Luis came to Woodinville Animal Hospital to explore the veterinary industry as it became an interest to him. He hopes to give the best care possible for the patients and clients here at Woodinville Animal Hospital. In his spare time, Luis likes to play video games, watch films, tv shows, and hang out with friends. When his friends are available, he enjoys putting on some basketball shoes and hitting the court.

Nora
Kennel Assistant

Nora, a graduate of Woodinville High School, has lived in Woodinville her whole life. She has worked in vet clinics for many years and has been a kennel assistant for six years. Nora has a cat named Sweetie and a dog named Princess. Nora spends her free time with her friends and family and enjoys playing video games and going for walks.
